Gift List Part One

The following lists were developed by Matthew and Ilaria via Skype and Google docs.

Just to keep it interesting, I'm breaking their gift list into sections. Please understand that a gift list is a set of suggestions, should you decide that you want to give a gift. It's all optional, what we want most is your best wishes.



Setting the Table

1. Plates set (12-16 people) (bowls, plates and little plates for the starter). The bowl has to be larger and shallow (because Ilaria eats a lot!) as in the picture and the material has to be in porcelain. It has to be an elegant set. Something like this bowl in the picture.(Sorry, picture unavailable, will add later...)

Instead for everyday meals it's Okay also a coloured set of plates but again the material has to be in porcelain). We can buy it by ourselves later.

Matt likes these, Ilaria likes these, but we need shallow and wider bowls as well.


2. Cutlery (12-16 people) stainless steel, inox 18/10
Ilaria has already one set to eat meat, but we need an ordinary set for all days. (Here are some options that they like:

3. Cups(6)in ceramic-porcelain.

4. Glasses (12-16) in glass

5. An espresso set with the plate sets(6-8)in ceramic-porcellana.

6. Set Water, wine and champagne glasses (flutes) (at least 12)with 20-30%of crystal:
Just basic tulip shaped glasses.

7. Serving platters, stainless steel, inox 18/10. Serving Utensils, also stainless steel.

I realize that this isn't much, but maybe it'll give you some ideas.
Apparently Ilaria already has tablecloths and napkins (a girl after my own heart!)
